Key Register

This is a list of the keys and keyholders in and about the UCC. If you need to get into the tool cupboard or the drinks machine needs filling - this is who you should persecute! Conrad is currently attempting to update this page. Please email him with what keys you have and also if you no longer have certain keys.

Please email any updates or corrections to this list to: committee@ucc

Cameron Hall and Clubroom

The key to the Cameron Hall building is held at Guild Administration, as well as a key to each clubroom. They can be signed out by a limited number of nominated people in exchange for their student card (while the key is out). The Cameron Hall key opens the doors at both the top and bottom of the main stairwell (coming out near the Tavern).

When using the clubroom key, please ensure that the door is not left in a locked open state.

Clubroom access is supplemented by the doorgroup.

The UCC has one copy of the key to the clubroom, currently held by:

Davyd Madeley, Email: davyd@ucc

Before 2003, four nominees of the club each had a set of both keys, until a change in Guild policy. The lack of these is an ongoing problem for out-of-hours, weekend and holiday access. In the meantime, a semi-regular weekend borrowing of the keys is made by:

Bottom cupboards in UCC/UniSFA hallway

There are some small brass Lockwood padlocks, keyed alike. One locks one of the five cupboards in the hallway, on a short steel cable - it's currently used to store food and drink. There is one spare key (copy) and two spare locks on a hook in the machine room. There should be at least nine (!) original keys and at least four copies.

There are several locks that have been around the room at some time. They're presumed obsolete and/or missing, but the following might just have a key to match.
