1. A dark reddish-brown to dark purplish-red.

How and when machine obtained:

• Maroon was built from spare parts in UCC.

History prior to arrival at UCC:

• None: Born and bred in the club.

UCC history of machine:

• Maroon was constructed in 2002 and connected to the stereo, so that we could steam music to the clubroom.
• It died from a disk failure in late 2002, and has netbooted from meito and manbo (current server).

Current machine tasks:

• Provides a mixer for music streamed through it via the AirPort Express.
• Webcam

Current software configuration:

• Debian GNU/Linux

Current hardware configuration:

• 133MHz Intel Pentium Processor
• 84MB RAM
• Color Webcam

Future plans for machine:

• None.

Special notes:

• Network card has no boot ROM - netboots off a "Disk Tools" floppy.
