President's Report
------------------
- UCC Darkzone 9-1 happened, had very poor numbers, only 7 people showed up.
- Yay for exams being over, can now focus on club stuff again
- Will be sending out a UCC News today or tomorrow, let me know if you want to add anything

Treasurer's Report
------------------
- Balance as of today is balance $3197.15

Machine Technical Reports
-------------------------
Servers:
- /home is low on space again
- suexec (HTTP) working again, thanks [TRS]
- tape library is working again thanks to application of crc 5-56; needs actual lubricant
- Tor and other hosts banned by EFnet are now banned from our IRC server due to abuse

Network:
- Resnet transit was down for a few hours on Monday. Upstream problem, actual nature unknown.

Desktops:
- LCDs got stolen (see General Business)
- Spaghetti ([RVS]'s machine), Lupine ([ROW]'s machine) and Heath have been removed by owners.
 - Heath removed by [ROW] without authorisation, we want it back please

Appliances:
- Wii got stolen (see General Business)

[JCF] arrives.

New Equipment:
- Picked up some gear from [PXY], including a new smaller scan converter

Drinks and Snacks
-----------------
- Lots of drinks, but still low on snacks.
- [M12] supposed to go on Snack Run.
- [LOL] to go next week if still not done

Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- SOC still not returning messages about budgets (via e-mail or Facebook), [SJY] will escalate to Guild President
- Some discussion of Guild plans for Cameron Hall, summary of hearsay:
 - The Guild is planning to renovate Cameron Hall, which will probably require the clubs to move out
 - The Guild apparently intends to try and avoid screwing UCC (and UniSFA) over
 - Dom Rose (Guild President) is happy to meet with us to discuss the issues
  - [DAA] to follow up, with [LOL] and Amber from UniSFA

Action Items

- [M12] to go on Snack Run.
  - Not done.
- [CJS] to add 2009 membership forms to the database.
  - Still in progress.
- [DAA] to archive old users' mail.
  - Done.
- [RVS] to obtain night pass and book loft.
  - Night pass obtained, loft booking unknown.
- [DAA] to send promotional email about LAN and 9to1 to UCC, SCISSA, CSSC etc.
  - Done.

General Business

- spartanhelmet : Items stolen on the night of Fri 19th
 - Intruders were in room Friday 19/6/2009, 11:35 to 11:42
 - Items taken: 2x LCDs, 1x G5 Mouse, 1x Wii, 1x bag with controllers "and stuff"
 - Discovered 0945 Saturday morning
 - Not yet reported to Security!
 - [SJY] fills out form and takes to Security
 - Probably entered through fire escape door, which is not getting locked by security some nights

- rvvs89 : Securing hardware to prevent theft
 - Some discussion of various locking methodologies, key storage
 - Probably have enough cables, but will need locks
  - [DAA] to buy 10x locks & keys
 - Consoles appear to be theft magnets. We've had five or six stolen!
 - The cameras are working, but the motion-sensing lights have not had globes for several months
  - Need to talk to the guild about security lighting, consider replacing our own

- prothoss : 9-1 Zone 3, payment of $280
 - Balance owed to Zone3 when we didn't reach minimum numbers, paid by [LOL]
 - Motion to reimburse him, passed

- trs80 : buy light machine oil for tape library
 - Passed, although no volunteers to buy it

- zanchey : sebj's account
 - With fileserver filling up, [DAA] discovered publically-readable video files in sebj's public-html directory, which total 3.5GB, and appear to be of soccer TV broadcasts (i.e. probably copyright material, probably an infringement of copyright regulations)
 - sebj has previously had his account locked for downloading these materials (although in that case it was for abuse of the network)
 - To be warned via email ([DAA] to follow up)
 - Account _will_ be locked if it happens again


Current Action Items
