The Event:

MS Burn95 celebrated a burning of Bill, and the departure of longtime UCCan and legend Quinn "The Eskimo" to work for Apple Computers in Cupertino, California, USA.
As part of the Mac people's anti-MS feeling for devious hacks done to software and for MS's monopolistic tactics on the computing industry, a Burn95 session was organised. What Win95 paraphenalia we could find was gathered together, along with a home-made five-minute-to-build Billy Boy effigy!
In essence, a good time was had by all! Chairman Bill, ruler of the world, was punished for his crimes against humanity (he has sent several CS people mad!). This was a fitting farewell to Quinn, while he must try and stay unaffected by the Amercian Neurotic Syndrome and MS!

The Photos:

First up, see Quinn and his 'best friend' Chairman Bill. You can tell they are still best of friends.
At first, someone thought it might be a good idea to take Chairman Bill and hang him from the clothesline, but then what about tying Bill to a stake being appropriate?
The angry crowd took Chairman Bill outside and stood him up with his propaganda! The crowd then started screaming for a burning, and a match was put to him and his stuff!
The flames start to burn Chairman Billy, and the flames burn hotter and hotter and hotter still!
Then the raucous crowd burns the propaganda of the evil empire. A poster gets placed in the ashes of the Chairman and starts to burn. The flames take hold and eventually the poster is toasted, with happy and satiated onlookers.
