President's Report

  • Started contributing to cataloguing UCC's books on LibraryThing
    • Shelves are now labelled for easy reference
    • Thanks UniSFA for letting us borrow their barcode scanner
    • Thanks [MVP] for getting this moving
  • Corresponded further with Rob Ardill re: IPv4 addresses
    • Have reached a satisfactory agreement re: raised issues
    • Final agreement has been made available to committee
  • Camhall Clubs meeting is on Wednesday at 5pm, for those who are interested
    • Idea is general planning, event coordination, etc.
  • Tenancy application needs doing
    • Reminder: due 7th Feb
    • I can do work on it, but would appreciate help
    • Will be interested in discussing other clubs' strategies
  • First SOC meeting of 2020 has been announced (via Facebook :/)

  • Was contacted by Oscar Hermoso about AssociationsOnline
    • He's still getting our notifications
    • Checked our account, we have control of it and Oscar doesn't appear
    • Will ask him to attempt to log in to his account and remove himself

Vice President's Report

  • Planning to finish the long-form fresher guide.
  • Given the qualitiy of previous guides, not too much to do.

Treasurer's Report

  • Out of the budget that was allocated for filling the vending machine we spent ~$200.
  • Ran out of bags for money. [MPT] cleared the bags out so we have bags again.

Events

UnCharity Vigil

  • The UnCharity committee voted to make entry a gold coin donation.

  • UCC is running some activites, still finalizing what activities. Probably Jackbox, maybe Screencheat.

  • UCC will get some dividend from running the event.

  • UnCharity want to use the square reader for orders

  • Square reader will be used with a 2.0% surcharge for use, as UCC is charged a 1.9% surcharge for square.

  • UCC is planning on auctioning off the games on shelf 21 in the clubroom.

  • Moneymatches and donations to set the game in Jackbox.

  • Need to solve issue of non-student access to UCC/Cameron Hall.
